Today seemed a good a day as any to get on our bikes and head south down the Walkill Valley Rail trail towards Gardiner. I’ve been talking about doing this for a while, last year we headed north up the rail trail to Rosendale, so I wanted to see what the south end had in store.
Today was a cool 70 degrees and the whole ride was filled with wildlife (rabbits, snakes, chipmunks, squirrels, horses, cows, sheep, goats, and plenty of birds), farms and lots of lilac bushes. A few shots from the day are below.
But first, an announcement! In an effort to reach more corners of the internet and increase my exposure I’ve started another blog (not to replace this one) on tumblr.
