One of my goals this past weekend was to get the garden cleaned up, survey what was coming up from the previous years and to plant some new stuff. In years past I would usually document the whole gardening process…and I think I lapsed on it last year a bit. So, this summer I’d like to try to get back to it. Past gardens on flickr can be seen here. New stuff this year — a couple of lilac bushes, thai basil, lillies and a rose bush…along with all the usual goodness — echinacea, mint, tomatoes, jalapeños, basil, lavender, irises, balloon flowers, dianthus, day lillies, oregano and lots of flowers.
In between all the gardening we did get some time to wander around town and had an awesomely refreshing basil mint lemonade with cucumber vodka at 36 Main.
